Inge Alferink – OASIS Project Manager

Inge is a linguist with a particular interest in second language acquisition and multilingualism. After completing a masters in Applied Linguistics and a PhD in Linguistics she worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the Human Communication Lab at the University of Toronto. More recently, she was involved in the Open Accessible Summaries in Language Studies (OASIS) initiative as a writer, editor, and coordinator. Inge is interested in bridging the gap between research and practice and excited about the opportunity to work with researchers, teacher educators, and teachers to bring recent findings from the field of language learning into the classroom. She joined the NCELP team in January 2019.
