Charlotte Webster

Charlotte Webster is Head of MFL at a secondary school in Exeter. She started her career in Liverpool, before working in London, Cheshire and then Malaysia, where she was Head of MFL and Director of Studies. Since returning to the UK four years ago, Charlotte has been part of the NCELP pilot scheme, first as a Specialist Teacher and now as a Course Leader. The NCELP schemes of learning are now fully embedded in KS3 at her school, as well as in many of the schools that she worked with as part of the Hub Project. Charlotte has recently been appointed ‘Director of Languages’ for the Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust, which spans 13 schools across Devon. She is excited to begin supporting other language departments as they learn more about NCELP’s research into pedagogy and start to adapt their curricula to include NCELP schemes of learning and resources.
