NCELP residential 1: 1-2 February 2019
Last weekend saw the first NCELP residential, which brought together specialist teachers and researchers.
Themes for the conference were phonics, vocabulary, grammar and meaningful practice, central pillars of language pedagogy.
NCELP is working to bring research and practice closer together.

Further CPD with specialist teachers on the project will be followed by Teacher Research Groups, in which hub teachers develop their knowledge of the key recommendations for phonics, vocabulary and grammar teaching, including their regular revisiting across schemes of work.
