Rachel Hawkes, co-director of NCELP, spoke at Language World, the ALL (Association for Language Learning) annual conference this weekend.  In her plenary, she focused on the recommendations of the Pedagogy Review and their relevance to the new Ofsted Framework.  Unpacking some of the core recommendations for phonics, vocabulary and grammar, she gave specific examples of NCELP’s approach that brings research and practice together to inform teaching in the UK context.
